Ms. Waidley has over 30 years of experience working in and with a variety of organizations. Her experience includes executive level management, faculty, and project management for large scale change initiatives. She is an innovative leader and well known for her creativity and enthusiasm in motivating teams. She is an international speaker and consultant in areas related to organization development and redesign, process/systems development, quality management, communication, strategic planning, and shared leadership.
Ms. Waidley has held many leadership positions both professionally and with community organizations. She is a published writer in professional journals, texts, and on the Web. She is respected as a "visionary" and as a leader who can "think outside the box" when developing solutions to meet the needs of both internal and external customers. She has extensive Board experience including tenure as President and secretary of Executive Committees.
Her consulting work in Southern California has included such prestigious organizations as the Eisner Family Medical Clinic, Western Governor's University, Memorial Health Care Systems, Mission Hospital and Regional Medical Center, South Coast Medical Center, Cal Optima, the Coalition of Orange County Community Clinics, and the Children and Families Commission. She also has worked in the past with the Lucille Packard Children's Hospital, MEDCOM, NurseWeek, WebRN, and several others. She helped to design and implement the Community Alliances forum with CalOptima, which continues to grow and has become the premier communication and networking mechanism for non-profits in Orange County. After being in top level executive management positions for the majority of her career Ms. Waidley recently decided to "give back to her nursing profession" and has joined the faculty at Linfield College Good Samaritan School of Nursing in Portland, OR.
She holds a Masters of Science degree from the University of California, San Francisco. Her undergraduate degree in nursing is from San Diego State University. Ms. Waidley has held faculty positions at UCLA , CSUF, CSULB, UCSF and Brandman University.
